Service Agreement

By booking pest control services with VRC Vermin Control, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms govern the provision of all pest control services, whether free (for farmers and smallholders) or paid (for domestic and commercial customers).

Free Service Eligibility

Free pest control services are available to:

• Registered farmers and agricultural businesses in Lancashire
• Smallholders with livestock or agricultural operations
• Properties used primarily for agricultural purposes

We reserve the right to verify eligibility and may request documentation of agricultural status.

Booking and Scheduling

• Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed within 24 hours
• We aim to provide service within 24-48 hours of booking, with same-day callouts available for emergencies
• Appointment times are estimates and may vary due to operational requirements
• Access to the property must be provided at the scheduled time

Cancellation Policy

For all customers:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a callout fee for paid services
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, safety concerns, or operational requirements

Service Delivery

• All work is carried out by BASC-certified professionals with appropriate licenses
• We use humane and legal methods in accordance with UK pest control regulations
• Multiple visits may be required for complete pest eradication
• Follow-up visits and monitoring are included in the service where necessary
• Customers must follow any safety instructions or recommendations provided

Liability and Insurance

VRC Vermin Control carries comprehensive insurance through Zurich Insurance, including £10 million public liability coverage. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage caused by pest activity prior to our involvement, or damage resulting from failure to follow our recommendations.

Payment Terms (Paid Services)

For domestic and commercial customers:

• Quotes are provided free of charge and valid for 30 days
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed
• We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
• Late payment may incur additional charges

Property Access and Safety

• Customers must provide safe access to all areas requiring treatment
• Hazards or dangerous conditions must be disclosed in advance
• Livestock and pets should be secured during service delivery
• We reserve the right to refuse service if safety concerns cannot be addressed

Limitation of Liability

While we strive for complete pest eradication, we cannot guarantee results due to factors beyond our control, including property condition, environmental factors, and customer compliance with recommendations. Our liability is limited to the value of services provided.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to services booked after the update date.
